I normally don’t like to bring up guns in auction but any discussion about this one will probably be a benefit to the seller:

Any idea what the markings on the left side and bottom of the receiver could be for: picture no. 11 and no. 36.

Brad,
The mark on the left side came from a wood shed repair. The screw threads probable striped so the took a center punch and punched around the hole which causes the metal to get pushed in effectively making the hole smaller and the threads have more to grab. The bottom looks like someones initials.

Thanks. I was wondering why somebody would make those punch marks in the receiver, that makes sense. Because the initials were stamped I was wondering if it could be a gun that belonged to a business, ranch etc. Easiest answer is probably just someone’s initials.
I figured initials since they were not stamped evenly and in a out of the way location. If it was a ranch ID or something like that they would of put on the side where it was more obvious.
