pre 64 Model 94|Winchester Rifles|Forum|Winchester Collector

i have a 1952 (SR #1868188) Winchester Model 94 in great shape but my research indicates they were only made with forged steel blued receivers and handles. Mine has a forged receiver but it appears to be brass along with the lever handle and the trim. The receiver has the screw in the bottom just like the forged steel ones that i have seen online. i think my granddad might have made a special order for, i know he is the only one to have ever owned the gun.
