Not the best picture but there she is. Serial #25859 24″ barrel, bolt peep sight. Factory sling swivels. Unfortunate the sling is not original. Bore nice and shiny with sharp rifling.
Three things to check…
1. Flat or crowned muzzle?
2. Receiver drilled & tapped for a peep sight?
3. Knurled or serrated hammer?

That is precisely what I expected it to have (based on my research survey). I now have just over 5% of the total Model 71 rifle production listed in the survey (2,364). I have a revised article for the WACA Collector magazine 99% ready to publish.
