… here is a M1895 flatside with sights that letter. And what makes this rifle of exceptional interest is that the barrel has been ordered with no rear sight seat. Pretty cool in my book:

I like SRC’s with the Lyman receiver sight. Some people feel it creates too much clutter – but that’s not my perspective.

A Model 1895 Sporting Rifle without the rear barrel dovetail, or rear seat, is definitely one of the rarer options.
