I can’t begin to make sense of this. So, he’s telling us Winchester took a plain model 64 and decided to change the “6” to a “9”? And why would anyone else do this? Wow… the b.s. that gets spewed about.

Not me! That is a standard Model 64 Rifle, and it most certainly was not marked/stamped “94” by Winchester.
As a matter of edification, the seller states “there are other guns out there”

Not me! That is a standard Model 64 Rifle, and it most certainly was not marked/stamped “94” by Winchester.

Bert – you read it better than me, but in reading it again, the seller states, “there are other guns our there”
My main amusement was in his statement that the change in the model designation will add a premium. Well, actually, he states, “The mis marking on this rifle tends to add a premium to the value.”
