Hello all, glad to finally be here in the WACA. I really don’t have an excuse for why it took me so long to join. I’ve had a love for anything Winchester since the 60-70’s when my aunt worked at the Winchester Gun Museum while it was still in New Haven. I’ve yet to visit the Cody location and I’m sure it’s a great experience, I was just really shocked and saddened when it left New Haven. Anyways, I look forward to chatting with everyone in here

Welcome, Cilrah! When you make it to Cody I feel pretty sure all your favorites will be there, the Winchester collection is still the backbone of the CFM, IMHO.

Thanks TXGunNut, I’m sure I’ll be overwhelmed with favorites. I’ve been to the collection in New Haven several time while visiting my aunt at work when i was a kid.

Welcome! Are older Winchesters part of your collecting focus? Say, M1873 through M1895?
Yes they will be, hopefully in the near future. I’m looking at a few 1873’s on GB but would rather start with the 1866. The next one will probably be a Centennial 66 to hang over the signed Norman Rockwell Stage Coach picture in my hallway.
