Hello,
I have acquired a 1951 Model 94. It is my first Lever Action rifle. I am more familiar with M1 Carbines and M1 Garands, but have always wanted a Winchester lever action rifle.
Is there anything I should be aware of when buying modern factory ammo for my 1951 rifle?
Thanks in advance,
Jon

One other thing, Jon. Lever guns are addictive and storing two or more in the same safe inevitably results in additional lever guns. You’ve been warned! The 30WCF was a hot rod cartridge in 1895 but all rifles chambered for this cartridge will easily handle today’s factory ammo. Enjoy!
