Picked up this 94 SRC in 30 WCF serial #931287  As near as I can tell the gun is right and was wondering if anyone could give me a ballpark on the value. I got this assembly tag with it that’s dated 8/1 very unique as this is the first one I’ve seen.IMG_2381.jpgImage Enlarger

If you can, take this SRC outdoors and reshoot your pictures in natural light.  Find a location that is brightly illuminated, but not in direct sunlight, and use a light colored background (but not white).

Your SRC appears to be is excellent original condition.

That is a very interesting tag! If you look at the the bottom it has a printers code “2110 50M 12-20”. With 2110 being I believe is the tag variation, 50M being 50,000 copies and 12-20 being the date December 1920. So if you go by the DOM on the WACA website, it has the DOM as 1921. Which would mean your SRC, at least according to the tag was assembled 8/1/1921. I wonder how this date compares with the SNA date from Cody?

Sincerely,

Maverick

The natural light photos were very helpful and have me convinced – that is a very nice carbine with original finish – in my opinion.  Hang tag is very cool.  I’ll let others closer to the current market estimate the value.

I would put a value of $3K on it, and it could go a fair bit higher in a well attended auction.  The warehouse tag is a rarity, and does add value to the gun… how much it adds will depend on the buyer.
