Am I missing something here? Or just an all-out bidding war? I realize the high condition, but seems like crazy money for a plain-Jane 94…with still 7+ days left to go on the auction.https://www.gunbroker.com/item/762183012

I see the bidding is now over $5000 with over a day remaining. The high bidder (who has been pushing it up for quite a while) has three pieces of feedback and has been on gunbroker for exactly two weeks. However, during those two weeks he has purchased three Winchester 94 carbines (and already received positive feedback for all three). I notice if he wins this one, he will have paid over seven times what he paid for the other three (they sold for $621, $718 and $799). There’s not much of what is going on here that I claim to understand.

Two bidders with LDS ran it up from $2K to the final price.

Looks like a great way to launder drug money……..

The same gun was re-auctioned and the price realized was now about right. Around $2k total at the end.
