Hi I’m in Uk and have a 32-40 model 94 it has 26” octagon barrel and full length mag tube serial no 263894 made 1905 the stock has a brass like plate in butt stock any ideas there’s no writing etc on this thanks

Hello,

More than likely the brass plate was added by a past owner. Typically, if Winchester added a monogram plate, it would have been inscribed.
