I can’t figure out what year the gun was made only number I can find is a 43 by the trigger it is a nickel steel 30 wcf barrel

The “43” near the trigger is an inspector’s stamp. It is the serial number that will allow us to determine the date of manufacture. The serial number is located on the bottom forward edge of the receiver frame as shown in the attached picture.
