OfflineI just won this Model 1892 at auction. It was made between 1904-1909. The serial number has been scrubbed and renumbered and the “ARSENAL” mark has been added.
Has anyone ever seen one like this or have any ideas or information??

OfflineI have never seen another Winchester with that marking, or even heard of one. If you can provide pictures of the factory markings on the barrel, and on the upper tang, the approximate serial number range and date of manufacture can be determined.
