Thought I stumbled onto a circa 1919, 32WCF that someone listed as a 32.20, but sadly, no.  I think the WCF designation was used until the ’60s and I’m guessing the front sight is aftermarket….  Still might buy it just because I like the look.  Probably not, though.  I’m guessing the original barrel was toast and a previous owner used what they could get.  Found it interesting enough to post the pictures:

Ron,

Winchester dropped the “W.C.F.” and changed it to “32-20 WIN.” in June of the year 1948. It was later shortened to “32 WIN.”

Ron,

LOTS of thing wrong with that rifle!!   The barrel has no Winchester markings on it.  The fore end is a carbine style but there is no saddle ring on the receiver.  The butt stock is not original to the gun.  And the whole pile of pieces has been refinished.  I would pass on it at at any price.
