Hello, could someone help ?
My friend (who doesn’t speak english) has acquired a Winchester 1873 SRC with serial number # 46XXX
We assume this is a second model, produced in 1880.
The gun needs a buttplate and a forend band, with respective screws. We believe the buttplate for this specific unit should be one with the trap door; also the butt stock has a hole in it.
When trying to find a source for the supplying of these spare parts, they are either out of stock or, which is worse, the indicated parts are not precise, specially on what touches the buttplate having or not a trap door for the cleaning rod set.
Could i have a comment on the above points and info on web sites from where i could acquire both parts & screws ?
I would be much obliged.

Your are correct that you have a second model gun. It should have a trap door butt plate. The best place to find them is on Ebay but your problem that I see is most USA sellers are not selling international.
