Just a “heads up” to my fellow Winchester  aficionados.  ET Brass has .32-40 & .25-20 Winchester brass in stock as well as Remington 86 gr. 25-20 & .45-70 405 gr. jacketed bullets.  I wouldn’t wait too long….Wink

AWESOME!  Thanks for the heads-up, I have been waiting for new Winchester 25-20 brass for a loooong time!  Just placed my order for more brass and the Remington 86gr bullets.

Interesting that E.T. Brass seemed to get it first as Natchez, Midway and others still do not have it.

Again, thanks, you made my day.

You and I both.  Remington has had the bullets listed as discontinued for some time…I honestly never thought I would see new ones again via the regular channels.

Another was gracious enough to provide me with the info, and I’m passing the good fortune on to those who will likely be as appreciative and happy as me. Laugh

I already received an email that said my order of brass and bullets shipped today (same day service)!.  I also ordered some of the Missouri cast 85 gr bullets as well.

I should be set for awhile now, whew! I was beginning to worry Winchester was never going to do another run of the 25-20 brass.

My 1892 take-down will be able to feast at the range now!

Man, it was hard to get through to them this morning on the phone.  All you guys ahead of me in line!  I persevered and a heavy package will be heading my way too.  I stocked up on several items but was particularly overjoyed with .32-40 brass available.  I ordered some .32 Special brass as well – how could I not 😉

I had to leave a voicemail message but she called me back within 30 minutes to take my order.  They are a small husband and wife operation but very friendly and personable, a welcome relief from dealing with all of the big box stores with no human interface.

I ordered a significant amount of the Missouri Bullet Co. 85gr bullets (a VERY heavy box Laugh) and she chatted with me on the phone while her husband went back to count their inventory to make sure they could fill the order.

Oh, yeah, forgot to mention, FREE shipping on orders of $100+.  If you are wondering why I did not just buy bullets direct from Missouri Bullet Co. it is because ET Brass shipped the boxes of LEAD to my house for free.  Ended up being cheaper than buying direct from MBC.

All in all, a very pleasant experience and I will add them to my personal “preferred vendor” list.

Thanks again for the heads-up, it is nice to know there are still some good family-run companies out there.

Best Regards,

I think they are working on a pretty small margin.  Then again, their overhead is probably pretty darn low.  Yes, I enjoy supporting the small family run businesses too.  A large blessing that came down the pike several years ago was the USPS flat rate shipping options.  Some of the very small boxes I’ve received (e.g. the $7 or $8 box) have been very heavy.  What I have great difficulty tolerating is the big outfits that insist on shipping everything UPS.  I’m sure it is simpler for them, but it sure translates to a lot more shipping expense on my end.

Let me add:  I very much appreciate the heads-up as well.  I would not have found my way to them had this thread not popped up here.
