Newbie Hello! I have come across a LNIB Winchester 94, made in 1966, I believe. Included are the original box, hang tag, wax paper, and manual. I think I am missing the warranty certificate and corresponding mail in warranty paperwork. Looking on Ebay, etc., I have found a few different versions of this paperwork–can anyone tell me which is the correct ones to purchase for my specific 94? The serial #: 29314xx. Also, any ideas of rarity & value? Thank you.
Roy,
I do not know which version of the paperwork would be correct for your Model 94 Carbine. Generally speaking, Post-1963 production Model 94s do not have much (if any) collector interest or value, nor are they rare. Winchester was producing nearly 100,000 of them per year from 1964 through the late 1970s. What does make your Model 94 a bit unusual is the fact that it is still LNIB. In regards to the value, that is tough to say, but I suspect that it would not be difficult to get at least $500 for it.
