It is very rare for a Model 1886 Winchester to have the receiver nickle plated.  You haven’t provided any basic information about the rifle itself, especially the date of manufacture, but I would think that the only way to tell if it is factory original would be to obtain a letter from the Cody Museum.

These last pictures you posted show a barrel and lower tang that is bare (in the white) steel, devoid of the original bluing.  It does not appear to be nickel plated.
