Blue Book is the source of his optimism.
I wonder. I’d rather buy whatever he’s been smoking.

I feel like I’m missing something. Maybe it’s the ultra rare 32 WCF chambering in an 1894.

I have sent 3 messages to correct the Caliber 32WS and Butt Stock is not Shotgun. Well see what happens–Bill
Bill-
Seller may be a bit confused. I saw the 32WS sight but missed the shotgun butt in the description. May also be selling an 1892 in 32WCF W/ shotgun butt. Looks like someone is interested in it, wonder how far up he’ll bid. Long way to go to what seller seems to be expecting.

Clarence-
IMHO he’s a bit optimistic on his description of the finish as well. All in all it’s a nice enough rifle but the expected price may discourage many buyers from bothering to bid.

I looked at this again. They do not list an auction estimate. Rather they simply include a screen shot from the Blue Book. They are not actually rendering an opinion of the value, just including information from a current pricing guide. They are suggesting the condition is between 70% to 80%. Given the marginal photos, I can’t say it is, or isn’t
