Per the ARMAX, there were 117 nickel plate Model 1894s before serial number 354000… and that rifle was not one of them.

Based on his description and starting price, it looks to me like he’s just using GB watchers to collect information…. cheaper than purchasing a WACA and CFM membership. Some peoples’ kids…. and no, that’s not this Ron. Ron

Poor nickel application and heavy polishing makes lack of originality obvious. Also, magazine length suspicious.

Magazine is wrong, front sight is wrong. Somebody chopped this poor old rifle and then wore out a perfectly good buffing wheel on it. Sad, very sad.
