by the United States Marines. From the M1917 Enfield to the M14, the Winchester, in the hands of Marines, Navy , Army, Air Force, and Coast Guard, won many a battle. Semper Fi Marines. Thanks to all!! This photos of a marker I found in Philadelphia this summer is very appropriate to post for all to enjoy. I do find it ironic that they started in a pub!!! While I may not personally be a vet I did go to Catholic school and my father retired as a bird Colonel from the army. Trust me I have stripes on my backside but not my shoulder patch!!!
