Took them home. Not really a Winchester collector, but could not pass them up. One is a Model 64 in .219 Zipper ( ? ), which is very nice, but may have been drilled & tapped for a side mount ( will look closer at it tomorrow ). The other is a Model 1876 in .45-75 caliber. It is in very nice condition, excellent bore, no rust, cracks or chips. Most of blue appears to be remaining, and may have a case hardened receiver & butt plate, I can’t tell for sure. Octagon barrel. Serial Number is 56528 which I believe puts its birth date in 1884. Would love some comments and value opinions on this one. I may have to buy a letter from Cody.
Well, cannot figure out how to put up pictures !!!! HELP !!!
Its a blued receiver and probable has cased lever, hammer, butt plate and forearm cap. The gun was made in 1887.
