Will the 1873 forearm tip interchange with the 1892 forearm tip?

It might depending on the caliber. The 73 has different barrel sizes and mag tube sizes depending on caliber and I assume they used the same tendon to attach it to the barrel.

If both are octagonal barrel in 32-20? Are they the same?

A 32 caliber cap on a 73 has a mag tube diameter of .530″ and distance across the flats of .8″. Now barrels do have a size tolerance when the flats are finished so you have to make sure the cap you find fits the barrel.
