You best never handle the gun otherwise the stock is going crack.

That is utterly hideous! Enough to make a guy lose his cookies. Some folks have no taste whatsoever. Imagine, some fool actually paid good money to turn a Winchester into that monstrosity.

My thoughts exactly… but I just had to share it with all of you. I found it while perusing all of the Winchester listings in the October RIA auction catalog.

p.s. on second thought, it might look real good mounted in the rifle rack in my truck. Talk about bragging rights at the hunting camp!

Bert-
I think that rifle would look great in the rear window of your “Arrest Me Red” Dodge diesel pickup…. Totally in character…
But I kind’a like it…. Here’s one I sadly failed to buy a few years ago… A Model 70, of course… Probably also the work of a “famous artist”…
Best,
Lou

“Embellished” So that’s what they’re calling it these days?

I think you guys should all pitch in a few $$ for “Bert’s” gun fund so that I can buy it, and then have it put on the cover of a future WACA Collector magazine. I promise that all funds donated and collected will go towards the purchase of that “embellished” (ugly) orphan
