OfflineHas nothing to do with export. It was a stamp used on the very last model 1886’s. You could call it the “parts cleanup” era of production, usually after c.1934 if I recall. Your rifle is much to early and has been rebarrled (as it is a takedown, more than likely the front end was swapped). Notice the “P” of the WP proof mark is shaped different on the two? It was from another die. One other thing to do is to remove the forend and look at the date code on the bottom of the barrel. Easy peasy as it is a takedown. It will likely say a number “33” or greater. Let us know!

OfflineIn the future you might not want to edit / remove / delete your photos from a forum post. Reason being, if someone else has the same question come up in the future, they can find the answer to their question by simply searching the forum and they don’t have to make a new post to ask the same question again.
