For your evaluation and comment is my Model 1886 in .50 Express.  This rifle lettered correctly with Cody as shipped o 4-15-1891 in its present configuration. Proofs indicate shipped to Great Britain and configuration suggests intended for Tiger hunting.

Very nice Express rifle.  Certainly has the configuration favored by the British and the condition is excellent.

A lot of the large caliber guns like this were used in India and Africa for large and dangerous game.
