I am looking to sell my 1939 model 62 single pin loading bolt. pump 22 short, long, and long rifle, in very good condition. This model was only sold for 4 years, 1935 thru 1939.It is a takedown model which locks down nice and tight and the bolt is very smooth an also locks up tight and perfect. very nice bore, and has 95% percent or better bluing. I would like to see a Winchester collector own it for their collection. Any help of where to list it for sell would be appreciated. Due to a stroke I can no longer see well enough to shoot open sight rifles.
Hello Roy,
The Model 62 was introduced in March of 1932, and through the year 1939, nearly 98,000 were manufactured. I recommend that you photograph it, and then post the pictures of it here on WACA website (the Winchester Swap Meet forum) with your asking price.
