I think we know the answer to that question. Chuck is a good example of how to do it. He goes and actually examines the pieces in the flesh. That, combined with his knowledge and experience tells him whether the piece is original or not. I’m sure he gives little thought to the auction house’s opinion on the piece. Many of the long-term collectors here operate that way.
