Big Larry posted a photo of a Winchester that the devil will make you concentrate on and draw each hour while you are in his realm–painful to look at!

I had the idea that those close-coupled triggers might be better utilized (and not such a terrifying sight) on a non-Bubba-ed rifle.

I suspect that the lower tang and parts, as well as, the hammer would need to be swapped from one Winchester to the other.  Is that correct?  And is it a sane option if overlooking the aspect of purity of parts to serial number?

The problem you may run into is the tang was shaped and buffed while it was in the frame so the surfaces match, then when you swap a tang they may look out of place. This is one thing I look at when buying a gun to see if the tang had been swapped.

Thank you, Bob.

I love the set triggers, so maybe someday I’ll be tempted to swap one out and in.
