I did a periodic oil wipe down the other day with my usual old t-shirts.   But they leave a ton of lint and fibers on the gun.   What do you guys use?  Is there anyone else like me that doesn’t like this?

Thanks,

Charles

I use the blue shop towels from any auto parts store. They are relatively lint free.

I use the micro fiber rags I get from Sams Club.

Sheep skin pad, a woolly one. It cleans and oils at the same time. T/R

I bought some cloths from Midway recently, made by Southern Bloomers or something like that. Seem to be a step up from my old t-shirts.

Whenever I go to Harbor Freight there is usually a coupon for a free 4-5 pack of microfiber cloths amongst the other free crap (although I do have an affinity for their 6-in-1 screwdriver – cheesy as it is I put one in every drawer in the house).

I find them the perfect size (about the size of a washcloth) to keep on the bench, throw in the range bag, etc.

No lint and the price is right.
