I am doing a study of the relative strength of winchester lever actions. I am mainly interested in the 1866, 1873 and 1876 toggle link actions. If anyone has any pictures or fairly detailed stories of these guns being blown up I would appreciate seeing or hearing about them.
Please email me directly at [email protected]
Thank you for any information.
I enjoyed reading your article in the Spring issue. Very interesting.
I have a pic and information on a blown 1876 (action still intact!) that I tried sending to your email address but was unsuccessful. Please email me [email protected] and I will forward the information to you.
