Do you have an image showing the entire ledger entry? I suspect that your Model 1873 was one of a pair of duplicate serial numbers.

Based on what I am seeing, I would assume a duplicate serial numbered gun.

Those in out dates are strange
in may 20
out sept 06
in sept 1
out sept 30
Now i see, yes maybe 2 identical numbers using one entry leger
