Any idea what model Winchester this butt-plate if for??

I picked this up along with a few other Winchester butt-plates and gun parts at a gun show last weekend. The seller had it marked “Winchester 1895 12 gauge” but that obviously is not correct. Could it be from a Winchester 1893 or 1897 shotgun, or?? Would appreciate any help identifying.

Don,
It was not for a Model 1873, 1876, Single Shot, 1886, 1887, 1892, 1893, 1894, or 1897 as it does not have the widows peak at the top of the butt plate.
