OfflineAbsolutely refinished from stem to stern… and rebarreled!
The serial number makes it a late 1901 vintage Model 1894, and the barrel on that rifle is a post-1950 production piece. Winchester did not mark them "32 WIN. SPL." until the mid part of the year 1950. Another clue is the lack of a proof mark on the barrel… somebody intentionally bufffed/polished it off, and it undoubtedly was a mail order barrel with a (P) proof mark.
