If a Winchester went back to the factory was it marked as such?
I sure that it was, if so what was the mark and when did they cease to do so

Went back to Madis "The Win.Book" (which I had looked through without finding anything) and on page 325 it says the assembly number was marked out and a new one applied

Hey Ray….when you say went back to the factory, what do you mean by that…went back to the factory for what?? Repairs, new configuration, shot out barrel replaced…???
