This gun is on an online auction here in Sweden just now.
Winchester 1886, serial nr. 135156, caliber 50-110, take down, tang sight.
Would appreciate your opinions very much.

Stefan,

I only find just one picture of the rifle. From what I can see, it looks correct, and in nice condition.

Stefan,

About the only thing I can see is the barrel shows signs of rust or dings.

Sorry, only one picture on this on-line auction.
Just thought I wanted to share.
Anyway, it is possible to see this rifle "live"in a gun shop in Stockholm if you are intending to bid on it.

Best,
Stefan

My guess is that if it were being sold at auction here in the U.S., that it would go for something north of $18K.

Thank you very much, Bert!
I always get amazed about the difference in prices between Sweden and the U.S.A when it comes to guns and especially old lever guns.
I am sure of that it will not even come close to $18K on this auction here in Sweden. I am also sure of that many guys here in Sweden wish it should be much easier to export guns to the U.S.A from here.

Stefan

Wow! I am very envious at how cheaply it went for there in Sweden. What a deal.
