I am looking at a local 1894 .30 SRC. 100% original. Excellent bore. Made 1906. Smooth exterior with only about 10-20% blue. The fore arm is walnut in very good shape. The butt stock is gumwood. It fits perfectly around the tang, but the large part of the butt stock is very dinged and chipped like gumwood gets, solid but shows heavy wear. I like the fact that it is a family gun and completely original. Does $600 sound fair?
