Hello,
I’d like to know for certain if the front barrel band is the same or different for a pre 64 and post 64 model 94. If it is different, what is different? I have a 1958 model 94 (.30-30) that I would like find a new or near new front barrel band for but am having trouble finding one. Post 64 front bands seem to be readily available but the pre 64 front bands seem to be pretty scarce. Any advice or suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thanks everyone.

They have a stamped steel band that is the same from about mid 40s to ???? but at least some after 64. Prior to mid 40s the band is milled and thicker.
I may have one. Ill look tonight.

Anyone here have or know where I can locate a new or near new pre 64 front barrel band for a 1958 model 94? According to previous poster Rex a stamped steel version somewhere from the 1940’s- 1960’s?
