A guy wants to sell me a Model 64 219 Zipper, about 80%. He does not know the value, and I can’t find any that sold. What would be a good price? I don’t want to pay retail, but am not looking for a steal either.

Is it a standard rifle or a Deer Rifle (deluxe)? Does it have a bolt-peep sight, or a standard 22-serries barrel sight? Pre-war or post-war (serial number)?

An 80% gun? I was thinking $1200.

$1200 will get you a beater 219 Zipper. It would be difficult to find a 30 WCF M-64 in 80% condition for less than $1200, and the 219 Zipper brings at least 2X the money.
What is the serial number on this rifle?

Oh, WOW! Wish I still had my Zipper. It was over 95%. Beautiful rifle. Fun to shoot. A friend of mine experimented with some loads for it when he was writing a book about shooting the old Winchesters.

Mine is being sold locally. That has a 22" barrel, that must be rare.
