Just picked up a Model 1905 in 32WSL S/N#18621 I’m guessing it’s a 1906 model year since my Model 1905 in 35WSL S/N#18978 was confirmed a 1906 by the CFM people. If anyone has any information regarding this rifle it would be appreciated. Even though they were made in Connecticut 1905’s don’t seem to be too common here in it’s native state. The ammo is even harder to locate, however I am lucky it came with it’s correct Magazine attached.

Probably not what you want to hear, but they were once at least not uncommon in rural upstate New York State. In the mid-to-late 1950s, before the M-1 carbine was available through the DCM, many of them were converted to fire the .30 Carbine cartridge. IIRC, the conversion was not complicated. Probably destroys any collector value, but makes it a pretty handy shooter.

Thanks for the reply, Ill keep it as an example of the other M1905 besides my M1905 in 35WSL. It has decent original wood without a cracked forestock which I have found to be rare thing in itself for the Winchester centerfire self loaders.
