Could you fellows please shed some light as to why the 9422 prices are so high? In my area of the country Middle Tenn. I’m seeing them sell for 650 to
900 in some cases! I don’t understand this? Do you think the prices have toped out?
Thanks

There seem to be quite a few around here (Arizona) for $500 or so.

First note the various grades of the 9422. That has a considerable impact. They "were" a great low cost rifle. Sold for very little and are an excellent plinker. Fit and finish especially on the higher grades is quite excellent.
Just a very pretty rifle often with select wood and nice metal finish.
I like the Annie Oakley tribute rifle; wish I had one unfired.
They remind me somewhat of the early John Wayne Commemoratives I bought and sold in the early 90’s.
You can shoot the heck out of a 9422 and as long as it’s cared for you can get that money you mention just for the standard model!
Generally speaking they are no longer a deal unless you luck into one for about what someone bought it for new. Be a great yard sale find.
