Hi guys,

New here and this is my first post. Recently acquired a Winchester Model 1905 in 35 WSL. Question is does anyone know where to find ammunition in Canada. Or how how to make some? I don’t yet have the rifle but am eager to try it out. Thanks for any help.

Here is a post of a fella using 38 special brass, I believe a lathe is needed to turn the rims and cut an extractor groove. Hope this helps…..Worst case is taking it to a machine shop and have them run a couple hundred for you. The projectiles are fairly spendy but that’s just the price of admission! AR type brass catchers do work on these rifles, makes things a bit easier when trying to locate your spent casings.

Doug,

I too own a Model 1905 in 35 WSL. Over the years, I collected several hundred original cases (and loaded ammo). I could probably part with some of the empty brass if you are interested.
