Where would one find how many Rifles/Carbines  WRA made in  35 Caliber. The 1895 and Hotchkis were  2 models, understand there were others.  Bill

Bill,

It was available in the Singe Shot and Model 1895… not the Hotchkiss.

In total, just (14) high-wall Single Shot rifles were factory chambered for the 35 WCF.  Brad most likely has at least a good idea how many were manufactured in the Model 1895.

Although not a Winchester, there were a few other manufacturers who chambered the .35 WCF.  One, that I’ve owned, is a Ross rifle in .35 WCF (barrel marked, “.35 Ross).  There were several models of the Ross rifle where there were but two chamberings:  .303 British and .35 WCF.

Let me add the Ross was not the only bolt-action rifle chambered in .35 WCF.  Add the Remington-Lee rifle to the list.  I’ve owned two:  one .38-55 and one .30-40.  I would enjoy owning others.  .32 Special, .38-72, .405, 44-77 and .45-90 would be nice (in addition to the .35 WCF).

Steve, I knew that the Remington -Lee was chamber in a number of cartridges. Pretty impressive for the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. I love my R-L sporting rifle in .30-40.
