Do any of you happen to know when the first 25-20 Model 1892 went into the Factory Warehouse?

Thanks

Thanks Joe.  I should have been more specific by asking for the month and day.

Brad,

From my notes, August 1895 is when they begin to show up.

What information, if any, is available on the production dates of the 25-20 repeater cartridge?  I am aware that the original 25-20 single shot cartridge is too long to work in the 1892 action.  It seams that just necking down the 32-20 should have been quite simple.  Is there any information on actual cartridge development?  Thanks, Roger

EDIT: I misread the answer above.  Sorry, the answer was there and I missed it.

Hello Brad

Should be around SN 41000.  Did you find an early one?  Would love to add it into my survey.

Michael
