OfflinePicked up this Excellent condition 1977 Model 94 last week. Took it to the range first time today. Shot 150 gr. Remington Core-loct and 160 gr. Hornady Leverevolution. Only shot at 50 yards but this is basically zero’d at 50 yards, which will mean it should hit about 1.25″ high at 100 yards. The slightly to the left grouping I attribute right now to my trigger control (I’m a southpaw). Top 3 shots were Remington & first group, dropped the rear sight a few notches and then put 7 shots (3 more Rem., 4 Hornady) in a nice tight group. Was holding the front sight bead at the very bottom of the black. Pretty pleased given was just using a sandbag rest & my old 50+ year eyesight. Will take it to 100 yards next time and see if I need to drift the front sight a tad or not.
