I have a 1961 Model 100. Serial # 19XXX. The guy who purchased it originally said that he special ordered the stock at the time of purchase.  Beautiful old walnut stock but no checkering? All the information I come across states that only the carbine models had no checkering. The stock doesn’t appear to be modified from its original form. Just wondering if anyone knows anything about this situation? Please e-mail me any info you may have to share. Thanks.

Thank you Bert. Just curious if anyone knows about this special order walnut stock back in 1961? It is a beautiful firearm.  Great shape and matches my model 88.

John,

Without the benefit of actually seeing it, the next best option is for you to post clear pictures of it.

John,

As a non-registered Guest on the WACA website, you can only post a link to your pictures. You will need to load them on a photo hosting website, then provide the link to them.
