I found this rifle in .257 Roberts at a pawn shop with Unertl target bases but no scope, and a Lyman 57W peep site. Sad and somewhat neglected looking, I took it home. After some cleaning it looks fairly good. I researched and decided on re-scoping with Bausch & Lomb bases and a Balvar-8 scope. That way it looks “right” and no more drilling/tapping added to what was already done. I have some pictures but can’t figure out how to post them.
