I’ve had quite a few guns with serial numbers several thousands higher than this one and none have had that lightening style address.  Is there a survey that shows the earliest serial number known with that style barrel address?

It definitely would be interesting to know the date code.

This particular SRC went through the polishing room in late 1920.  The lightning style WINCHESTER marked barrel address was definitely being used mid-year 1924 (950000+ serial number range), as it was standard on all Model 53 and Model 55 barrels, and those models were introduced in June of 1924.  I do not know exactly when it became the standard style on the Model 94 though.
