I’d appreciate any opinions about the wood finish and bluing on this rifle. The wood still looks proud to me but I’m a complete novice. I think you can swipe the pictures left and right, there’s 5 or 6 pictures.

Your 95 appears to be in pretty nice condition with even wear to the blue and wood finish. It is early enough to be in factory records, it looks like a standard rifle with Lyman model 21 sight that may have been factory installed.

No platinum dots, but it looks like someone used a punch to make two witness marks.

i haven’t received it yet but the rest of the pictures online show a good bore an nothing altered so I’m pretty happy with the purchase. Especially since I’ve seen those Lyman’s selling for around $600 now.
