Someone posted one about a year ago. His had a broken firing pin and he was struggling to remove the bolt because he could not push the lever to bolt pin out because of the “missing” hole.

Thank you Erin ,

I tried to search out the old post you mentioned. But I couldn’t seem to find it. You don’t happen to remember if anyone had some kind explanation as to why the hole is missing? It just seems quite odd to me. I don’t own the rifle in question. I’m just very curious about it.

Ned

Chris posted the link, I think this will clarify your questions. I’m curious how far apart the serial #’s are between your example and the old post…….

Apparently just a few years apart, Erin. Interesting.

My thanks to all that responded. I appreciate it.

As it turns out, this is the same rifle as in the old thread. A very unique rifle for sure.

I love a good mystery.

Ned

Hey Ned,

Thanks for taking the time to ask around about my 94.  I still have yet to find anyone who has seen a similar example.  The gun shoots great!  Excellent bore after sitting around for who knows how long with that broken firing pin!
