This one is coming up for auction.  I have never owned a SRC with DST’s and as I search my memory banks of what I’ve seen over the last half century, I’m not coming up with much of anything.  It also seems when you see DST’s, they are often paired with other special order features.  I was stuck by the fact that this carbine had no other special order features.  What are other’s experience with SRC’s and DST’s?

That is a very rare feature for an otherwise standard SRC.

GunBroker has a carbine with close-coupled triggers for sale.

The carbine has been listed for many months.  A gunsmith in my area is selling it for a client.

I found it.  Interesting piece.  Even though it has some interesting character, with the added stock decorations and the weathered condition, I suspect it will not be a quick seller.

Yup.  I made an offer on it when Santa’s beard was still black.  A high enough offer that it made me wince to speak it.  The fellow who owns it is sticking to his price.
